Lego blocks not only hold a fascination for children and can be used for designing regular furniture. Case in point, the playful yet functional Rietveld Lego buffet and the Red blue Lego chair. Designed by Mario Minale , the Lego Buffet and Red Blue Chair pays homage to Rietveld’s 20th century Buffet and chair and is a modern take on it.

If you like me have strong a French Connection and absolutely love the gorgeous city of Paree (Paris) then chances are that you will extend the same sentiment to the “ParisLovesYou” Chair . A nod to the typical French Bistro Chair, you don’t really need to be Parisian to appreciate its design. Manufactured by design studio House Desalle, the rattan based chair may be rooted in traditional French design ethos however its contemporary styling is unmistakable.

Design studio Nieuwe Heren have experimented with conventional shapes and have come up with something rather unique with “The Poets” Series. The series of folding chairs have been designed for veracious readers and hence the rather poetic name.
